"Everyone a changemaker" - Bill Drayton

Show your support by supporting the initiatives of our own changemakers at HLC. 2 groups - 2 different causes. One is to request a donation and the other is to request your creative participation:

Support this set of 12th graders who started with volunteering by attending to helpline calls from those in need due to the COVID 19 pandemic. By doing so, they realized that although their own worries were still significant, the struggles of the underprivileged during this period were significantly more and yet not highlighted - the aid they were receiving was paltry. These Changemakers started a fundraiser, ‘Campaign For Life’, to address this gap they noticed. Through their campaign, they wish to make a small difference. You can enable them by donating here:

Here is a note from the President of the HLCGirlUp Club:

HLC Girl Up is a club that a few of us at HLC have started as part of the Girl Up community. Girl Up is a campaign created by the UNF (United Nations Foundation) dedicated to providing equal opportunities for underprivileged adolescent girls in developing countries around the world. The @hlcgirlup team is asking us all to spread the message to many more people we each know by sending pictures, quotes, drawings or anything else related to women empowerment and the 17 sustainable goals for the world. These changemakers will be posting messages on their own pages as a way to show their involvement in the Girl Up program. As they look for more student members to join their cause, they keep their invitation open to everyone, boys, and girls of all ages; also, this campaign is a fight for human rights, not just women's rights.
