“A Vision without a task is a dream, a task without a vision is drudgery, but a task with a vision can change the world” Hence I want to begin my dream of starting Oakwood International School with a vision, where a child can be able to create and accomplish great deeds. I strongly believe that the strength of our country lies in its foundation. School education is therefore regarded as the base depending upon which one’s life structure takes shape. To accomplish this endeavor, we are providing to our students the best possible infrastructure, facilities, and faculty. Education for life, excellence in education and commitment to a meaningful education are of prime importance. Providing quality education to all children is our target. We believe that love for education should be developed for children at the initial stage and conditions should be created for them to develop a positive approach in life. This involves stimulating creative thinking, developing problem-solving skills and life skills and laying emphasis on application of knowledge. As per CBSE curriculum, a well-designed school calendar is prepared and shared with all the parents. The main objective is to appraise the parents about the regular functioning of the school. All the faculty members are periodically provided training in various aspects like effective classroom management, effective classroom transaction, professionalism in teaching to equip them with the latest trends in education and also sensitize them towards safety and security of the students and better ways of handling the students. All the students are exposed to a variety of experiences through Wi-Fi enabled academic transactions, Laboratories, library, educational trips, and interactive sessions with experts in various fields in order to make them self disciplined, goal oriented and responsible citizens. We, in Oakwood International School, believe in the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in guiding the students. We develop them the courage to try new things as every big breakthrough starts as a harebrained idea. We visualize to be the pre-eminent center of learning to produce future leaders with a global perspective. Our Mission “ If you want to think 1 year ahead, plant rice. If you want to think 10 years ahead, plant trees. But if you want to think 100 years ahead, give education to children.” The gist of the proverb for modern education will rightly infer if it just doesn’t mean mere education but the right education in the right place. Despite a huge increase in the number of schools, the quality of education haunts the parents in selecting a school, where the child is unable to meet the expectations of the “Minimum Level of Learning”. Oakwood International School believes that the “destiny of India is been shaped in the Classrooms”. So it’s extremely important to provide highly eminent education to the Students which can able to pertain them in their real life.
