Whole wheat bread 3 slices
Coriander and mint chutney 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup 1 tbsp
Red Bell pepper finely cut 1 tbsp
Grated Cheese 2 tbsp
Lettuce finely shredded 2 tbsp
Pepper powder 1 Tsp
Butter paper to wrap the sandwich
Makes: Enough for one hungry belly
A classic non-vegetarian pinwheel sandwich can be made using finely shredded chicken, crumbled boiled egg, finely shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. After trimming and flattening slices, you need to spread mayonnaise on all three slices. You then need to spread the three fillings on one slice each and then, stack them with chicken at the bottom, lettuce in the middle and egg on the top. Next, you need to roll sandwich, wrap in butter paper, chill in refrigerator, unwrap, slice and lastly, serve!
These Tricolored Pinwheel Sanwiches have great eye-appeal and can snap a child out of their boredom while being very nourishing.
